In spite of Christian fundamentalists burning their fluffy toys at the stake and chewing their wrists off in protest against Behemoth and Rotting Christ visiting our shores, these two controversial metal bands made 2016 one of the most memorable years in South African metal history. All thanks to Witchdoctor Productions. Yeah I know, Iron Maiden was also here, but they had their fair share of negative publicity during the Satanic Panic of the eighties.
